Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist PRN to join our team. As a Physical Therapist PRN, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and reassessments of rehabilitation needs and potential, planning, implementing, and supervising therapeutic programs, and guiding and teaching patients in techniques, exercises, or precautions designed to improve range of motion, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, or functional ability.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and reassessments of the patient's level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic procedures.
- Plan, implement, and supervise an individualized therapeutic program designed to restore physical function, improve range of motion, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, or functional ability.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Rehab Director, or designated professional, to ensure integration of the therapeutic program in the plan of care.
- Guide and teach patients in techniques, exercises, or precautions designed to improve range of motion, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, or functional ability.
- Observe, record, and report the patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in the patient's condition or treatment.
- Graduate of a curriculum in Physical Therapy accredited/approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or the Committee on Allied Health Education of the American Medical Association, or the Council on Medical Education of the American Physical Therapy Association awarding a Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Current licensed by the state of Texas to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Two years appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist required. One year experience in a home health setting preferred.
As a Physical Therapist PRN, you will be working in a home health setting, conducting home visits and/or hourly patient care daily. Periodic office meetings will also be required. You must have reliable transportation and agency-required liability insurance.
