QTC Management, Inc. is on the lookout for skilled Medical Assistants to travel regionally, providing essential support for our Veterans during their medical evaluations. The hourly compensation is based on experience and geographical location, with potential for quarterly bonuses and merit increases.
  • Position requires approximately 85% travel within designated regions.

This role involves:
  • Conducting routine procedures to gather patient medical histories, record vital signs, and manage lab requisitions.
  • Performing standard diagnostic procedures with precision, including EKGs, venipuncture, and preparation of lab specimens.
  • Providing travel exam recommendations and after-visit summaries.
  • Administering medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of clinical spaces.
  • Assisting with translation for non-English speaking patients, if applicable.
  • Handling front office responsibilities, including appointment scheduling and data entry.
  • Reviewing and editing medical reports for accuracy.
  • Collaborating with operational teams to ensure timely submission of reports.
Typical Work Environment:
  • This is a full-time position with a focus on regional travel.

  • Travel arrangements are managed by our dedicated travel team.
  • Corporate credit card provided for travel-related expenses.
Qualifications:
  • Must reside in the designated region.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in relevant healthcare settings.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License and willingness to travel.
Skills Required:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in medical documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic medical records.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
