Position Overview

The responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Strategically plan and oversee production processes in areas such as Receiving, Customer Returns, Inventory Management, Customer Complaints, Picking, Packing, and Shipping.
  • Serve as the liaison between internal and external warehouse operations to enhance productivity, resolve inquiries, and manage priorities and exceptions.
  • Monitor and refresh area KPIs, developing new metrics as necessary.
  • Implement Lean methodologies and quality tools to address process deviations and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse operations to pinpoint areas for enhancement and translate ideas into actionable process or system modifications.
  • Analyze, recommend, execute, and evaluate process changes alongside WMS configuration adjustments in partnership with the Bosch central Continuous Improvement department.
  • Develop comprehensive warehouse process documentation and deliver training to operational teams to ensure the realization of intended benefits.
  • Assist with operational reporting tasks utilizing tools such as WMS, Tableau, and Power BI.

Additional Workplace Considerations:

Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs for certain tasks is required.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, or Business Analytics is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse/distribution center operations, layouts, systems, and designs.
  • At least 3 years of experience with warehouse management systems such as Red Prairie, BlueYonder, or SAP EWM (Key-User/Super User level skills are advantageous).
  • Proficiency in analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, MS Access) and SQL coding.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, creative, and communication skills for effective problem-solving.
  • Team-oriented mindset with flexibility in work style and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels, along with conflict resolution capabilities.

Salary Range:

The base salary range for this full-time position in the U.S. is $68,100 - $102,000. Individual compensation is determined based on various factors, including work experience, job knowledge, role complexity, and job location.
