We are seeking a qualified Part-Time Faculty member to teach courses in sociology for the Department of Social Sciences at Truckee Meadows Community College. As a Part-Time Faculty member, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic experience of our students and contributing to the college's mission of providing high-quality education.

• Teach a variety of sociology courses, including Principles of Sociology, Introduction to Statistical Methods, and Introduction to Social Psychology
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments to promote student learning
• Stay current in your teaching field and participate in professional development opportunities
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies
• Provide support and guidance to students, including advising and mentoring

• Master's degree in Sociology or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution
• Strong teaching and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse academic environment
• Desire to work in a community college setting
