Join Our Team as a General Thoracic Surgeon

We are seeking an accomplished General Thoracic Surgeon to enhance our team at WVU Medicine. The selected candidate will work in the Eastern Campus of WVU School of Medicine at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV. Depending on operational needs, the candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be part of our esteemed team of academic thoracic surgeons, providing outstanding patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical education. They will be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to medical education and research
Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree (or foreign educational equivalent), be eligible for state medical license, and have completed general surgery residency program and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship program.
