Mechanical Maintenance Role Overview

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician with dsm-firmenich, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the machinery and equipment that drives our operations. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the safe and efficient maintenance of our mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including equipment PMs, to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
• Diagnose equipment failures and recommend alternatives to minimize repair costs and downtime.
• Collaborate with production personnel to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly.
• Comply with all safe work practices, including confined space entry, hot work, and mechanical safety.
• Utilize basic knowledge of Maintenance CMMS (SAP) to obtain relevant work order, equipment, and spare part information.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED; Technical Degree Preferred
• 2 years' experience within a mechanical maintenance organization
• Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating shift
• Successful completion of Level I training requirements in mechanical maintenance
• Available to be on-call as needed
• Effective communication (oral and written) skills
