Job Responsibilities:

The essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including but not limited to large split systems, water source heat pumps, variable air volume systems, fan-powered boxes, and variable refrigerant flow systems.
  • Deliver high-quality craftsmanship and maintain exceptional standards of work.
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment, adhering to proper personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked company vehicle.
  • Manage and organize company-issued tools and equipment.
  • Complete accurate timecards, service records, and inspection reports.
  • Communicate regularly with team members, service coordinators, and supervisors.
  • Engage with customers regarding service arrival, issues identified, and service completion.
  • Notify inside sales of necessary proposals for identified issues and recommended repairs.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience and training.
  • Registered technician with TDLR.
  • EPA Universal Certification.
  • Possess basic hand tools, such as gauges, meters, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and smartphone usage.
  • Ability to conduct basic troubleshooting and system analysis.
  • Self-motivated while contributing to team dynamics.
  • Passionate about our company vision and committed to customer service.
  • Willingness to pursue training and expand industry knowledge.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving history.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment, parts, and tools exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and at elevated heights.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces.
  • Able to work in extreme temperature conditions.
