Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including but not limited to: vacuuming carpets, mopping and waxing floors, trash collection and disposal, restroom sanitation, and maintaining cleanliness of seating areas.
  • Utilize and manage housekeeping equipment effectively, such as brooms, mops, cleaning solutions, and safety gear.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards as directed by management.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance calls regarding spills, leaks, and other facility issues.
  • Monitor and report any necessary repairs or maintenance requirements.
  • Assist in the physical setup and breakdown of the facility as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report potential hazards to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Prepare the facility according to event specifications as requested.
  • Engage with guests in a courteous and helpful manner, addressing inquiries as needed.
  • Ensure a clean and orderly workspace, maintaining general organization of equipment and supplies.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the ASM Global guidelines.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Required Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective working relationships.
  • Capability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in housekeeping or floor maintenance.

Working Conditions: This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk, stoop, and stand for extended periods. The position may involve exposure to various environmental conditions such as dust and noise.
