Job Summary:

Protouch Staffing is seeking a skilled Medsurg/ER Boarder RN to join our team. As a Medsurg/ER Boarder RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients waiting for beds in the ER. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to patients waiting for beds in the ER
• Collaborate with the ER team to ensure efficient patient flow and timely bed assignments
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the ER team

Requirements:

• 1 year minimum experience in Medsurg level I/II trauma facility
• 2 years preferred experience
• BLS certification
• Compact license or IN license
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts and 3 weekend shifts within a 4 week schedule

Work Environment:

• Work in a fast-paced ER environment with high patient turnover
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices
