We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Unit at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan individualized patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, incorporating patient and family education and involvement.
- Provide supervision and guidance to non-RN personnel, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Participate in charge nurse responsibilities, delegating and coordinating unit activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures and technologies, including endoscopy equipment and accessories.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a BSN preferred.
- Valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license.
- Recent endoscopy, ambulatory surgery, or operating room experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
