Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the indoor and outdoor spaces of the community, including painting, carpentry, drywall, cleaning, minor plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and other maintenance activities.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including trash management, mowing, trimming shrubbery, cultivating flower beds, snow removal, and debris removal as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of work orders and respond to emergency on-call duties on a rotational basis.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and adapt to changing work priorities.
  • Perform various cleaning and minor maintenance activities throughout the commons areas of the property, including sweeping and mopping tile surfaces, polishing floor space, window cleaning, and vacuuming carpeted areas.
  • Assist with cleaning when apartments turnover and ensure all cleaning supplies are safely and properly stored in designated areas.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of prior apartment or home repair maintenance experience, including drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and cleaning.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some computer skills helpful for timekeeping, emails, online training modules, and work order processing.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
