The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week. Pay may vary depending on location and experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team of professionals in Atlanta, GA. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocols, including coil placement and data entry
  • Interview patients to explain procedures and address concerns
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by monitoring for hazardous materials and alerting staff as needed
  • Orient new hires and train students, trainees, and other staff members
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Two (2) years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist
  • License in required state
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff, and visitors
  • Capacity to learn and apply relevant applications
  • 2 years of hospital experience in clinical area; EP preferred
