About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Professionals. As a key member of our dental support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide range of procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient comfort and care.
  • Take and process x-rays, as well as conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, as well as place and expedite orders as needed.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant, with the ability to train newly graduated dental assistants.
  • Dentrix or other dental software experience.
  • Dental assisting school certification in IA required.
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
