Key Responsibilities:

As a Paddock Laborer - Entertainment Experience Specialist at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway, you will be responsible for fostering a fun environment and being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers. You will also be responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events. Additionally, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility paddock areas, utilizing appropriate heavy duty or specialized equipment and proper cleaning chemicals as assigned.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude. You must also enjoy hosting others and be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests. A minimum of one year of cashiering and experience and/or money handling experience is also required. You must be able to promptly and accurately follow instructions given by Assistant Shift Manager or Manager and qualify for licensing by Ohio Lottery Commission. You must also be able to navigate multiple computer programs and pass a background check. Finally, you must be able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
