Job Title: Operating Room Tech / Sterile Processing Manager

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Operating Room Tech / Sterile Processing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Operating Room Tech / Sterile Processing Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our operating rooms, including prepping the OR, surgical tools, and equipment, helping nurses and surgeons scrub in, keeping up with equipment during surgery, maintaining sterile conditions, assisting with tools during surgery, cleaning the OR after surgery, and transporting patients to and from surgery.

Responsibilities:
  • Prep the OR, surgical tools, and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Help nurses and surgeons scrub in and maintain sterile conditions
  • Keep up with equipment during surgery and maintain sterile conditions
  • Assist with tools during surgery and clean the OR after surgery
  • Transport patients to and from surgery
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
