Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that pharmacy operations are in compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing and patient care.
- Staff Development: Provide training and guidance to pharmacy staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with hospital administrators, medical staff, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Education: Advanced degree in Pharmacy required; Master of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D preferred.
- Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in pharmacy leadership or management; ten years of experience in pharmacy practice preferred.
- Licensure: Licensed Pharmacist listed by the State Board of Pharmacy.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
