Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to contribute to the success of Whiskey Hill Brewery + Kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Safety: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas, adhering to safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
  • Quality Control: Verify the freshness of food and ingredients, rotating stock to maintain optimal quality.
  • Cooking and Presentation: Prepare and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment, ensuring dishes are presented attractively.
  • Guest Service: Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback, addressing concerns with a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a restaurant cook is preferred.
  • Certification: ServeSafe or Food Handlers certification is required (or willingness to attain).
  • Communication: Effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 30+ lbs and work standing for 8+ hours.
