Cardiology RN

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Cardiology RN for an ongoing nursing position in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.

This per diem/prn nursing job involves providing ongoing care to patients with various cardiology needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Using the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care.
• Recognizing and responding to changes in patient status and need for care.
• Determining priorities of patient care based on essential patient needs.
• Providing triage and consultation to patients, families, and significant others according to protocol and organizational guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state in which you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), obtained within 6 months.
• An Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• No prior experience is required, but demonstrated ability to effectively make critical, independent decisions is essential.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including keyboarding, navigation within a Windows operating system, and use of electronic medical records systems.
