Job Overview

Metro Industrial Services is looking for dedicated Residential and Commercial Cleaning Specialists. This role is a temporary/contract position, ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Perform vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of different types of flooring.
  • Dusting: Ensure all surfaces, including baseboards and window sills, are dust-free.
  • Bathroom Sanitation: Thoroughly clean and disinfect all bathroom fixtures.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen appliances and surfaces.
  • Bedroom Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in all sleeping areas.
  • Window Cleaning: Ensure windows are spotless and streak-free.
  • Linens Management: Change and refresh bed linens as required.
  • Disinfection: Focus on high-touch areas to reduce germ spread.
  • Surface Sanitization: Regularly sanitize surfaces to promote health and safety.
  • Deep Cleaning: Attend to less frequently cleaned areas for thorough sanitation.
Compensation

Hourly Rate: $13.00/hour

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, with potential weekend shifts as needed. Typical hours range from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional hours from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Candidate Requirements
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and navigate stairs.
  • Comfortable working in environments with pets.
  • Must work collaboratively with a partner.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License is required.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
