Location: Huntsville, AL

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct time-motion studies on processes involved in chemical processing and precision cleaning to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform data analysis and gather insights to inform process optimization decisions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements.
  • Provide input into the design of studies and plans, and ensure data is collected and analyzed properly.
  • Develop ad-hoc queries and reporting to track and monitor operating performance.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • BS in Operations Research, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience working directly with manufacturing in a production environment
  • Demonstrated ability in manufacturing and/or facilities planning
  • Factory flow, process modeling and simulations experience
  • Experience leading continuous improvement and value stream mapping events
  • Strong analytic skill set and a high degree of proficiency in data mining
  • Exceptional with Excel and manual data analysis
  • Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills
