Role Overview

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will function as a scrub technician within the Special Procedures/Interventional Lab. Your expertise will encompass all aspects of general diagnostic radiology as well as neuro and vascular interventional examinations, adhering to established protocols as directed by the supervising radiologist. These responsibilities will be executed in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications

Qualifications

Demonstrates knowledge of patient care across various age groups, ensuring appropriate care for each individual. Responsibilities include:

Welcoming patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Monitoring and assisting patients throughout the examination process. Providing first aid and CPR as necessary. Transporting patients when required. Performing as a scrub technician in special procedures. Conducting a variety of imaging examinations following established protocols. Managing image reconstruction and archiving processes. Operating imaging equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Assisting radiologists in imaging examinations using sterile techniques. Completing orders in a timely manner and ensuring proper documentation. Maintaining quality control and relevant records as required.
