Job Title: Financial Representative

At Everence Services, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Financial Representative to join our team. As a Financial Representative, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our clients, building strong relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build trust with clients through professional competency and empathy.
  • Function effectively as part of a team of consultants to achieve business objectives.
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of all Everence-offered products and services to refer new business opportunities.
  • Master all paperwork and systems necessary to provide daily service for assigned clients.
  • Attend to all service issues from assigned clients quickly, thoroughly, and professionally.
  • Complete Everence's onboarding process for financial consultants.
  • Regularly contact clients for cross-sale opportunities and personally meet with new clients to develop relationships and assist in reaching their goals.
  • Be responsive to referrals provided by other colleagues and generate new business and sales within assigned areas.
Qualifications:
  • College degree preferred; willingness to pursue other industry designations.
  • License(s) required: Pennsylvania Life & Health Licensure and appointment with Everence Trust Company.
  • Administrative or sales experience; preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Appreciation for the mission of integrating faith and finance within Mount Joy's diverse community.
    • Self-disciplined and demanding of oneself; self-starter; energetic.
    • Service motivation to build long-term relationships.
    • High attention to detail and organization.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; respectful, diplomatic, and professional in interacting with others.
    • Ability to explain complex financial concepts in an easily understood manner.
    • Willingness to follow a process of uncovering needs among existing clients to personally generate new business and/or refer opportunities to other colleagues.
    • Enthusiasm toward phone work in a fast-paced environment; no call reluctance.
    • Results-oriented, strong follow-through skills.
    • Proven problem-solving skills.
    • Ego strength (resiliency).
    • Proficient with Windows-based software, Microsoft Office Suite.
