Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Electric Power Systems, Inc. in Redmond, WA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing system planning studies for electrical utilities and developers, conducting system studies using PSS/e and PSLF, and developing and managing complex data sets.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct system planning studies for electrical utilities and developers
  • Perform system studies using PSS/e and PSLF
  • Develop and manage complex data sets
  • Prepare detailed technical reports
  • Manage projects, including tracking project data requests, creating data submissions, and responding to client comments
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications
  • Microgrid, power plant, or utility experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently and on multidiscipline engineering teams
