Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm to completion, with occasional Sundays as needed. Competitive compensation package, including a starting annual salary of $34,457.

Job Summary:

The Material Handler-Loader is responsible for filling customer orders by performing the following duties:

• Fills orders from tickets according to set quotas.
• Orders filled manually by walking and using pallet jacks and/or riding jacks.
• Identifies product by description and quantity, then removes product from the area and carries it to the staging area.
• Checks for accuracy in picking.
• Performs general housekeeping duties.
• Completes daily powered equipment inspection forms.
• Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Sorts and places materials or items on pallets according to predetermined sequences.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Counts items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Performs assigned duties by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies.
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance within company guidelines.
• Ability to maintain safety and security of company assets.
• Ability to utilize all company-provided resources and technology.
• Less than high school education or up to 1 month of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift and electric riding pallet jack experience preferred.
• Ability to repeatedly grasp, stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and frequently lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to effectively adapt to change.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative.
• Ability to work safely and securely.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedules as required.
