Job Overview

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RBT to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. As a Behavioral Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing one-to-one behavioral intervention plans, participating in continued staff training, and coordinating services and staffing to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Assist with training and hiring of new staff into the program.
  • Implement unique, one-to-one behavioral intervention plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Participate in ongoing staff training and professional development to enhance ABA techniques and skills.
  • Regularly communicate with supervisory staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect and analyze therapy session data to inform treatment planning and improvement.
  • Coordinate services, staffing, and other changes impacting clinic services.
  • Maintain composure and tact in all interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Provide 1:1 and group support for students, promoting engagement and academic success.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as assigned to support smooth daily operations.
  • Connect families with support resources beyond staff capabilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in ABA or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or current undergraduate student pursuing relevant education.
  • Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • Prior experience in case management or family support roles preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and related computer software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
