Job Description:


As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians enjoy a supportive work environment, with opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and patient-centric setting.


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service to our patients and customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Maintain accurate records and files
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and customers
  • Operate pharmacy systems and cash registers
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with counting and measuring
