CDL A Spotter

Job Summary

The Roanoke, TX Distribution Center is seeking a skilled CDL A Spotter to join our warehouse operations team. As a CDL A Spotter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trailers within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

* Manual dexterity sufficient to grasp tools and equipment
* Ability to read and write English sufficient to read computerized forms, computer screen, handwritten paperwork, complete trailer movement logs
* Class A CDL required
* Safety knowledge as it pertains to yard safety and driving safety
* Ability to work inside the warehouse and outside in temperature extremes (-20 degrees to over 95 degrees)
* Available to work any shift to include weekend work.
* Strength to lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 60 pounds on a regular basis, able to pick up from floor level to waist level, and sometimes shoulder level

Qualifications

* Audible communication sufficient to two-way operate radio
* Safely back trailers in to dock doors and maneuver trailers in various doors and spaces on yard
* Operate interior and exterior trailer wash bays
* Manually wash front and rear exteriors of trailers
* Assist Trailer Clean Out as needed
* Fuel tractor / trailers when needed
* Work closely with others all warehouse departments in solving problems, coordinating work activities, and getting the job done
* Be a positive team-oriented associate and have good follow through
* Ability to work a flexible schedule.
* Perform other duties as required.
