About the Role

Ochsner Health is seeking a skilled Nursing Supervisor to join our Mother Baby Unit team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supervision to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate patient care on the Mother Baby Unit, ensuring high-quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to our nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a maternal health setting.
  • Excellent assessment and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
