Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse - Medical 2 to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
  • Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards
  • Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
  • Participate in the development of and maintain established hospital policies, procedures, and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection prevention program
Requirements
  • Minimum one year nonacute care RN experience or 6 months of Acute Care RN experience required; or currently oriented and can provide care independently within the department
  • 18 months of experience in an acute care environment is strongly preferred
  • Registered Nurse credential required
  • Basic Life Support certification required upon hire
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to lift patient handling no greater than 35 lbs. without the use of assistive equipment and/or devices. You will also need to perform hands-on CPR at least 20 minutes using lbs. of force. The ability to move around the area with frequent sitting and bending/stooping/squatting/reaching/kneeling is also required.
