Job Summary
The Sales Associate will support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals and initiatives. Key responsibilities include maintaining excellent customer service, effective communication, product knowledge, and appropriate selling techniques. Additionally, the Sales Associate will ensure company standards of merchandise presentation, replenishment, and sizing while maintaining a new and clean store and backroom.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Becoming aware of customer activity and responding with urgency.
  • Greeting and acknowledging customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
  • Communicating value and quality of merchandise while sharing current promotions and offering solutions for 'out of stock' items.
  • Effectively addressing customer concerns and demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Demonstrating selling skills to positively impact conversion.
  • Providing fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap while educating customers on the benefit of the PLACE Card.
  • Maintaining appropriate stock levels and ensuring all sizes and styles are represented.
  • FOLLOWING COMPANY STANDARDS OF MERCHANDISE PRESENTATION, SIGNAGE, AND DISPLAY.
  • SUPPORTING AND MAINTAINING A NEAT, CLEAN, AND ORGANIZED STOCKROOM WHILE ADHERING TO A CUSTOMER READY ENVIRONMENT, AND ADHERING TO SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.
  • PURSUING DAILY HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES TO COMPANY STANDARD.
  • GUARANTEEING COMPANY ASSETS BY ENSURING ADHERENCE TO ALL LOSS PREVENTION PROCEDURES.
  • INFORMING STORE LEADERSHIP TEAM OF MAINTENANCE AND FACILITY NEEDS PROMPTLY TO ENSURE THAT CUSTOMERS AND ASSOCIATES ARE PROVIDED A CLEAN AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT.
  • CONTRIBUTING FOCUSED, WELL-MANAGED EFFORTS TOWARDS ACHIEVEMENT OF STORE GOALS.
  • EXHIBITING FLEXIBILITY BY PROCESSING STOCK WHEN NECESSARY.
