Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Hematology and Oncology Position

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity to work as an Advanced Practice Provider specializing in Hematology Oncology. You will be collaborating with physicians to deliver comprehensive care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing patient and family education tailored to individual needs, promoting understanding of conditions and treatment plans.
- Conducting thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and assessments.
- Managing acute and chronic health conditions with appropriate medical interventions.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans within the scope of practice.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and lab studies to assess treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Prescribing medications under established protocols.
- Acting as a liaison and resource for patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members.
- Participating in health promotion, disease prevention, and maintenance efforts within the healthcare system and broader community.
Qualifications
- A current driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be completed within 90 days of start.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience.
