La Bodega Meat & Produce Warehouse is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Meat Clerk to join our team. As a Meat Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our meat and produce departments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Restock and replenish meat and produce displays to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked store environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following proper sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including meat and produce.
  • Participate in inventory management and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a retail or food service environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
