The Nurse-Resident role is a critical component of our Nurse Residency Program, designed to provide new graduate nurses with a solid foundation to launch their nursing career. As a Nurse-Resident, you will have the opportunity to work under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse, refining your nursing knowledge and skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Attend all quality and core curriculum classes, actively participating in professional development workshops and peer support groups.
- Successfully complete all clinical competencies and validation requirements of the Nurse Residency Program.
- Work under the direct and indirect supervision of the Clinical Education Team, refining nursing knowledge and skills.
- Actively participate in managing clinical situations, working under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing required.
- Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina.
- BLS required.
