Job Summary

As a pharmacist at Emanate Health, you will be responsible for the procurement, storage, and distribution of all drugs in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will also perform clinical consults, conduct drug utilization reviews, and supervise technicians to optimize workflow and resource utilization.

Responsibilities
  • Procure, store, and distribute all drugs in accordance with regulations
  • Perform clinical consults and conduct drug utilization reviews
  • Supervise technicians to optimize workflow and resource utilization
  • Actively participate in CQI activities
Requirements
  • Pharm. D. degree preferred
  • High level of English verbal and written skills
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a pharmacist in a hospital practice
  • Experience with pharmacy computerization, supervision of technicians, and knowledge and experience in clinical aspects of pharmacy
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Current registration and licensure in California as a pharmacist
  • BLS or ACLS required (ICH/QVH only)
  • Annual 2 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH
