Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Redlands Chamber of Commerce. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to support students' cognitive, motor, and sensory needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs that meet students' unique needs.
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions, as well as consultation and coaching to teachers and staff.
  • Supervise and mentor occupational therapy assistants (OTAs) to ensure high-quality services are provided to students.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy and apply this knowledge to inform treatment planning and service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and support for students.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced school environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel between school sites and have reliable transportation.
