About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at TrustBridge, Inc. as an Inpatient Hospice Nursing Assistant. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need of end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in an inpatient setting under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, provide for personal care, comfort, and maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of inpatient residents.
  • Provide and maintain bodily and emotional comfort to Hospice patients/families and educate and assist the patient/family in maintaining the maximum level of independent living in a safe environment.
  • Pledge to make the comfort and care of patients and families the highest priority.
  • Consistently provide a high level of personalized, sincere, and engaging service to patients and families at all times.
  • Ensure the complete satisfaction of patients and families; promptly and effectively address all concerns.
Requirements
  • Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Six months experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Must be willing to accept direction and supervision.
  • Must be able to work comfortably with professionals and volunteers.
  • Must be able to fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Must practice good personal hygiene and be neat and clean in appearance.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and understandably.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality in reference to patients, families, and staff.
  • Must be able to understand the Hospice Philosophy and apply it accordingly.
  • Must be willing to respect the needs, beliefs, behaviors, and psychology of patients and families.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
