Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our occupational healthcare team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Intelligence Community (IC) customer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for independently performing laboratory tests in accordance with applicable professional standards, laws, and regulations. This will include screening procedures, such as vision testing, pulmonary function testing, and audiometric testing, as well as effectively using and testing various medical screening devices.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory tests and procedures in a timely and accurate manner
- Screen patients for various medical conditions using vision testing, pulmonary function testing, and audiometric testing
- Operate and maintain various medical screening devices, including hematology analyzers, blood chemistry analyzers, and vision screening equipment
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
- Associate's degree in laboratory science, biology, or chemistry, or a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience
- At least one year of experience in a full-service clinical laboratory
- Active American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ACSP) certification
- Active certification in spirometry
- Active certification in audiometry
- Certified Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT)
- Demonstrated experience using and testing various medical screening devices
- Fundamental understanding of Federal lab laws, regulations, and HIPAA standards
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in laboratory science, biology, or chemistry
- Demonstrated phlebotomy experience
