Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of Kansas or participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
  • Nursing diploma or associate's degree in nursing; bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications within 6 months of hire or transfer.
  • One year of RN experience.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The nurse specialist will work in a variety of settings, including the preoperative and post-anesthesia care units. The nurse specialist will also be required to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
