Empath Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality care to our patients. As an LPN, you will work under the direction of a Primary RN to identify patient and family needs and coordinate interdisciplinary team provision of services under physician's orders.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and intervene to maximize patient comfort and enhance the quality of life for the patient and family unit.
- Collaborate with Primary RN and/or CTM to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members.
- Graduate of a licensed certified Practical Nursing program and at least 1 year of clinical experience.
- Maintain LPN license in accordance with State of Florida requirements.
- Certification: Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Current IV Therapy certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
- Must provide proof of Valid Florida State Driver's License, valid automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employee's HR file.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients/families, providers, direct co-workers and peers.
- Excellent multi-tasking and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent typing and computer input skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations.
