Job Summary

This position is responsible for conducting quality management surveys, leading medically fragile surveys, and investigating incidents involving Medicaid waiver participants. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills and experience in nursing and quality management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality management surveys to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Lead medically fragile surveys to assess the care and services provided to Medicaid waiver participants
  • Investigate incidents involving injury, medication errors, or deaths of Medicaid waiver participants
  • Provide medical consultations to investigators
Requirements
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico or eligibility for such licensure
  • Three years of experience in nursing and quality management
  • Valid New Mexico Driver's License
  • Defensive driving course certification
Working Conditions

This position requires extensive use of a computer and telephone, including extended periods of sitting, talking, and frequent standing. The position also requires the ability to lift and carry over 25 pounds.
