Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Micro Tech Staffing Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a senior role in our quality control team and contribute to the success of our clients.

Job Duties:

  • Apply advanced knowledge of GD&T and Metrology principles to program CMM's/vision systems to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Resolve issues and answer questions from Operators as well as from Inspectors and Engineers.
  • Train other inspectors and technicians.
  • Work with Quality Engineering and perform validation and verification of programs (CMM, vision systems, etc.).
  • Participate or lead special projects related to tooling fixtures and gages.
  • Identify and drive cost reduction projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Work closely with the team to determine efficiency gaps, and to implement improvements.
  • Create CMM programs using part drawings or models and perform inspections as required.
  • Troubleshoot and/or amend existing CMM programs.

Qualifications:

  • 6 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment and mechanical inspection of precision parts.
  • 6 years experience with inspection equipment and tools.
  • 4 years minimum experience advanced CMM programming.
  • 4 years minimum experience advanced Vision System programming.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
