You will document and deliver reports, proofs-of-concept code demonstrating your findings, and hands-on demonstrations. This role requires extensive experience with C or C++, Python, and Assembly, as well as the use of reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and Binary Ninja.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reverse engineering of hardware components, software applications, and operating systems
  • Document and deliver reports, proofs-of-concept code demonstrating findings, and hands-on demonstrations
  • Lead and mentor junior reverse engineers
  • Develop and maintain expertise in reverse engineering tools and techniques
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with C or C++, Python, and Assembly
  • Extensive use of reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and Binary Ninja
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Network Engineering
  • 10 years of experience, including 5 years of experience with reverse engineering
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
Desired Skills
  • Understanding of OS Internals (Windows, Linux, Android)
  • Experience with Vulnerability Research
  • Experience reading or writing assembly (x86, x64, ARM, PPC, MIPS, SPARC, 68k, or others)
  • Experience developing embedded systems
  • Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP stacks, wire-level protocols, RF communications, BGP, routing protocols, or others)
  • Understanding of exploit mitigations such as DEP and ASLR
  • Experience using debuggers such as gdb, WinDbg, OllyDbg
  • Experience with BDI/JTAG
  • Experience with modern C++ development, such as RAII, C++11, and C++14
  • Experience building and using tools to find, exploit, and productize vulnerabilities in complex software systems
  • Experience with technical leadership
