Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough wound assessments, including wound measurements, cultures, and photography
  • Develop and implement individualized wound care plans, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Provide education to patients, families, and hospital staff on wound care and related topics
  • Document patient care, education, and communication with healthcare teams in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
  • Current BLS and CPR certification
  • At least one year medical/surgical experience
