Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough wound assessments, including wound measurements, cultures, and photography
- Develop and implement individualized wound care plans, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed
- Provide education to patients, families, and hospital staff on wound care and related topics
- Document patient care, education, and communication with healthcare teams in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS and CPR certification
- At least one year medical/surgical experience
