Incentive Program: This position qualifies for a $15,000 commitment incentive, distributed over a three-year work commitment, with equal installments paid after every six months of completed work.


Position Overview:

As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will conduct procedures and tests utilizing MRI technology to gather and analyze diagnostic data for patients.


Work Schedule: Tuesday through Thursday - 10am-10:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Verification: Employ professional conduct to confirm patient identity, gather medical history, and assist patients and their families, ensuring their understanding and safety throughout the process.
  • MRI Operation: Exhibit expertise in MRI technology and human anatomy, proficiently operating MRI scanners and administering contrast materials while maintaining ARRT active status through continuing education.
  • Contrast Administration: Provide oral and intravenous contrast to patients, adhering to established protocols and verifying eligibility through lab values.
  • Image Management: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of PACS, ensuring accurate transmission of images and verifying patient demographics for billing accuracy.
  • Additional Duties: Complete tasks efficiently, manage workflow, contribute to challenging procedures and research, and maintain a clean work environment while mentoring new staff.

Qualifications:

Education:
Completion of an accredited program in Radiological Science or completion within three months at the time of application.

Licensure/Certification:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible, with advanced certification in MR required within one year of employment.

Experience:
Prior education, training, and experience that equip you to perform the assigned tasks effectively.


Additional Information:

This is a full-time position with a standard workweek of 36 hours. Salary range is $40.09 per hour, determined by experience and internal equity.
