Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Remington & Vernick Engineers. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing engineering services on all phases of assigned projects under the supervision of the Department Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate under limited supervision
  • Provide mentoring and technical leadership to younger staff
  • Perform roadway design, including plan preparation, specifications, construction estimates, and construction schedules
  • Prepare or oversee roadway (geometric, horizontal & vertical alignment) drainage design
  • Experience with NJDOT design requirements and plan preparation is a plus
  • Experience with NJDOT Utility Engineering and ROW Engineering is a plus
  • Serve as primary contact for client and sub-consultants
  • Responsible for scope, schedule, and budget adherence

Requirements:

  • Experience on NJDOT projects is preferred
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Microstation, InRoads, OpenRoads
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License Required, New Jersey

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in the field and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use. May occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
