POSITION SUMMARY

The Overnight Store Supervisor is responsible for delivering exceptional service to all customers of The Golub Corporation. This role oversees the efficient operation of the store during nighttime hours, ensuring that all clerks are performing their duties effectively and that product displays are well-stocked and organized.

Key responsibilities include managing inventory levels, ordering and receiving products, and maintaining optimal stock levels to enhance sales opportunities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are essential to the role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
- Provide consistent, friendly, and efficient customer service at all times.
- Ensure proper handling and merchandising of all products in accordance with company policies.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all products to assist customers effectively.
- Maintain a positive demeanor, making eye contact and expressing gratitude to customers.
- Keep a clean and organized workstation, adhering to established standards.
- Oversee all operations during the Third Shift, ensuring smooth functioning of the store.

- Monitor shelf conditions, maintain stock levels, and ensure proper signage for out-of-stock items.

- Schedule all Night Crew Associates effectively.
- Manage Front End and Office operations, including check approvals and nightly resets.
- Assist in ordering merchandise and supplies for the Grocery Department while adhering to transmission timelines.
- Ensure compliance with merchandising standards, including shelf allocation and promotional items.
- Maintain excess product in the Back Room according to corporate guidelines.
- Participate in the hiring, training, and development of new Night Crew Associates in grocery operations.
- Handle disciplinary actions or recommendations for Night Crew Associates in line with company policy.
- Ensure adherence to refrigeration and security protocols during third shift operations, including weekly and nightly resets.
- Unload deliveries from warehouses and direct store deliveries.
- Evaluate the performance and progress of Store Associates.

- Ensure that productivity measures for the 3rd Shift Grocery Crew meet established standards and that all tasks are completed efficiently.

- Implement and uphold all corporate and state sanitation and pricing procedures.
- Safeguard the company's inventory and assets.
- Control shrinkage through compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies at all times.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to manage team members and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Satisfactory performance reviews.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Exposure to cold environments for occasional periods.
- Standing for extended periods (5-8 hours).
- Walking for extended periods (5-8 hours).
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and dexterity (5-8 hours).
- Bending, twisting, and pivoting for extended periods (5-8 hours).
- Occasional pushing/pulling of weights up to 2400 lbs.
- Frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting of items up to 75 lbs.

OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Frequent reaching and climbing.
- Occasional repetitive motion of hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders.
- Unloading trucks.
- Occasional exposure to adverse conditions.
