Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in performing specific duties and activities for surgical patients of all age groups
* Perform multiple departmental assigned tasks that facilitate the transportation of patients, positioning of patients, room readiness and the turnover processes between surgical procedures
* Take specimens to the laboratory, pick up x-rays, charts, etc.
* Assemble equipment, assist anesthesia care givers as directed, and perform environmental sanitation within the operating room and immediate ancillary units
* Ensure proper care and storage of surgical equipment and devices
