Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Porter Pipe & Supply. As a critical member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods to our clients while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Safely maintain and operate a variety of trucks (straight boom truck, semi-tractor trailer) to transport goods to customer locations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of materials and products transported, completing daily and monthly trip logs according to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with the dispatch department and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of deliveries.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with warehouse staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • CDL A License: Must possess a valid CDL A license to operate company vehicles.
  • Boom Certification: Holding a boom certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: One year or more of prior truck driving experience is essential for this role.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
