Our facility is an 80-bed acute treatment center that specializes in addressing the needs of individuals experiencing behavioral or mental health crises.
We are a collaborative partnership between Mount Carmel Health Systems and Acadia Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities and Highlights:

Core Responsibilities:
Summary:
Accountable for delivering clinical services to patients within the facility.
Adhere to medical protocols established by federal and state regulations, as well as corporate and facility policies.
Assess medical information on patients to ensure stability and provide medical recommendations.
Conduct evaluations for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
Administer treatment or oversee treatment plans for patients, employing various psychotherapeutic techniques and medications.
Complete and review medical documentation for individual care plans, ensuring timely recording of services and information.
Maintain confidentiality and compliance in documentation and billing according to established policies.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) is mandatory.
Preferred: One or more years of post-graduate practice experience.
Must hold a valid license in the state of practice.
Licenses/Certifications:
Board certification in psychiatry is required.
Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances in accordance with state regulations.
