Key Responsibilities:- Implementing effective preventive maintenance strategies using approved and safe methods.
- Creating weekly maintenance plans and distributing tasks among the maintenance team.
- Designing and executing maintenance protocols.
- Conducting routine inspections to guarantee facility adherence to safety standards.
- Ensuring all equipment is prepared for production initiation.
- Addressing equipment wear and tear and troubleshooting any operational issues.
- Modifying and fabricating equipment as necessary.
- Upholding and enforcing all OSHA regulations and company safety practices.
- Promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.
- Training new hires and current staff on safety and operational procedures.
- Managing inventory of spare parts to ensure availability.
- Implementing 5S principles within the maintenance department.
- Overseeing the maintenance workshop to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety.
- Adopting a proactive stance to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Performing building maintenance and repairs to support efficient production processes.
- Carrying out additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Fluency in Spanish is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a two-year technical degree in electrical engineering, technology, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
